The William Dixons and a Dellow or Two

Our family in Corby through the years

By Sharen Auger-Rizy

Hi there,

I am the only daughter of Florence Stella Dixon and Robert K. Auger and hope you enjoy the photos from my family albums of the William Dixon family of Corby. There are some I am not quite sure about, or just don't know about.  If you have comments or corrections about any of them please add them to the page.  It is my pleasure and privilege to share these with you.  Maybe they will bring you some fond memories of people from your past.  Please also, read my "letter from America" on this site as well. God bless all of you and God bless Corby.

Hi Margaret.  Indeed they were.  Mum's mum, Rose, and Pauline's dad, Jack, were sister and brother. My mum, Stella, and Pauline were cousins and best friends.  Pauline was beloved by me also as I spent a great deal of time with her during my first visit in 1965.  Sadly, she passed in the late 60's.  Mum passed in 2005. Please do share the photos.

I have shared the photos of Stella, she was a very good friend of my mother Maureen Nicholls. There is writing on the back of the photo in her own hand. I hope you can copy the photos from here, if not please contact me [I know this is not a social networking site but it should be]
