The photograph collection that George and I have kept safe for so many years belonged originally to the Exeter Community Project, which was set up in 1974/5 when the powers that be decided that, the residents of Exeter Estate needed to develop and grow as a community with skills and abilitys to share and use. The community workers were professional people who supported the local people, educated them and empowerd them with the confidence to run many self supporting activities and groups on the estate. It was an exciting time when ordinary pople like myself and George got totally involved with play and the children of Exeter! Big Thanks to Corby Community Arts for all their help and work.....
