Trying to remember... To the right of Woolworths, was it Boots the Chemist that went in there? I seem to recall there being a small area inside where you could get ice cream in that building.

Must have been early 60's that my Mum used to allow herself a treat now and again of an American Cream Soda Float!... But, was that in Boots or not? Anyone else remember? - Kenneth Kerr

In the 1970s I believe it was Timothy Whites. Which i think was a dispensing chemist, but also sold small electricals and household items.
